3,000 Extra Tix for Restaurant Week!

Good news for foodies who love a bargain! 3,000 extra seats will be released this weekend for Restaurant Week! So if you have been vacillating and missed the boat, here’s your second chance to grab up-market meal tickets to swanky restaurants BLU, Bonta, Capricci, My Little Spanish Place, Zento, and The Song of India. Don’t waste time, though – get them only via www.restaurantweek.sg as they go real quickly.

So how does this seven days of luscious gastronomic sinning work? Well, technically there are  81 restaurants who have rolled out special three-course menus from 21-27 March at very affordable fixed prices: S$25++* for a three-course set lunch and S$35++* for a three-course set dinner. Which means you can try out restaurants you always wanted to go to, without blowing a hole in your bank account. (*DiningCity Star Awarded restaurants charge a fixed supplement of S$15 for lunch and S$20 for dinner.) All the restaurants are swanky spots, including newbies like Salt Grill & Sky Bar, KU DÉ TA, Stellar@1-Altitude, Jade at Fullerton Hotel and Clifford (Fullerton Bay Hotel).

While you’re dining, there’s affordable wining too at some of the 81 restaurants. CULINAire wine deals offer sets of $20 ++, $28++ or $38++ for two glasses of wine to pair with your menu. These wines will come from Brown Brothers (Australia), Chapoutier (France), Ruffino (Italy) and Torres (Spain)

Eligible Eats For Singles Only

And if you’re single and fancy checking out the lay of the land, put your name down for “Eat, Drink, Love’, a singles event by Restaurant Week and Lunch Actually. No prizes for guessing that you’re getting yourself into a meal of ‘micro-dates’ – a new man with each new course. If only life could be like that! This takes place on 23 March and 24 March and features a three-course set dinner at Brasserie Wolf (The Pier at Robertson) and Chef D’Table (CHIJMES). While the company is the main course – and we hope it does not disappoint – you will also sink your teeth into dishes like crispy seabass fillet with baby spinach laced with champagne-orange beurre blanc, and Ivory chocolate mousse and chocolate truffle sandwich dessert at Chef D’Table, and Lamb loin fillet with aubergine caponata red wine sauce, and Petit pot de crème with mango sauce at Brasserie Wolf. Tickets for this event is $65 per person and available now. Details from www.lunchactually.com/eatdrinklove
