Kids Swimwear That’s Sun Safe and Keeps Your Wallet Whole
School’s out, and the kids will soon be on the loose. What does the long holidays usually spell? Sun, sand and the surf for kids who aren’t glued to the Xbox or internet. We recently stumbled upon this great little shop curiously called OchoMaeve Swimwear which sells their own in-house brand of kids’ swimwear. Apart from cute looks, Tee-Pee-To keeps kids safe from the sun with ultraviolet 50+ protection in all their swimwear which are tested and certified by the Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency. Made of nylon and spandex, the range also includes accessories like hats with visors and neck protection and cost S$28 – S$32 thereabouts.
The ladies behind this shop were motivated to manufacture their own brand after seeing how expensive imported kids’ swimwear is here. “The prices are ridiculous if you consider the fact that they out grow them in a year or two, and that’s also the main reason why we decided to venture out and manufacture our own swimwear,” they said. What’s more, we are told that Tee-Pee-To is also made from a factory in China which churns out swim wear for other expensive international brands.
We also noticed they sell delicious swimwear for us ladies too, but that’ll be another story altogether!
