A few years ago, The Thing to Salivate For, to have and to hold in our kitchens was the KitchenAid, then it was Cuisinart, Le Creuset and silicone bakeware. In my mom’s time, it was a range of AMC pots (don’t you remember those?) – of which I now have one…still one of the best things around and awfully expensive (above $300 per pan!…which is why I only have the one she gave me).
