Every girl needs a good calcium fix to ensure great bone structure and a sexy smile, and the Fullerton Bay Hotel shows that you can ensure good nutrition in style. So get the girls together for a dairy do and make reservations for window seats at The Landing Point for their new Cheese & Wine Experience.
For S$88++, treat yourself to a spread of 18 cheeses and six wines. They call it “unlimited free-style format” which, in layman’s language, translates simply to “buffet”. Call it what you will, it is another good value deal which gives you the freedom to explore wine and cheese pairings to discover what you like, what works, and what doesn’t. No cellophane-wrapped cheese slices to be seen. On the spread are specimens like Epoisses de Bourgogne, Gaperon Frais La Même and Chaoure AOC Cru Tradition, and for necessary libation, Old World red, white and dessert wines.
This takes place every Thursdays to Saturdays 6pm – 9pm. If you’re not in the mood for a full meal, this is happy hour that also fills you up in place of dinner! Plus you get a lovely view, gorgeous surrounds (one of the prettiest hotel lounges in my books!) and the signature Fullerton Bay scent which is strongest and most lovely in that part of the lobby….if you can smell it over the cheese, that is!
Oh, and by the way, they’re also serving a selection of $10 martinis on weekdays 5.30pm to 7pm, until the end of May. How to resist? Chin chin!
