Christmas Market At Hullet House
Don’t forget this season as you are busily shopping at Harbour City in Kowloon to cross over to Hullet House’s Courtyard and wander through its Christmas Market. Featuring an array of interesting festive gifts, toys, bespoke jewellery, even t-shirts, cards, ornaments, books and even festive food like Stollen, Mince Pie, Sausages and even Foie Gras and Cheese – this market is reminiscent of the European Christmas Market. Plus the place looks amazing at night like a fairy kingdom pretty and all lit up!
We had a SimplyFab wander through the stalls and snacked on crepes, flavoured pop corn, raclette, hot mulled wine, hot chocolate, roasted chestnuts, breads, jams and preserves. I was tempted to sit on Santa’s lap but got a posed photo instead. The kids though will love the set up as there is proper Christmas tree to pose with and an actual garden seat for Santa for them to plonk on his lap.
And whilst queuing (just because what does not have a queue in HK) the kids can watch a traditional puppet show or get their faces painted.
Free entry and open to all, the Market opens Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 December from noon to 9pm daily.
Whilst you are there, check into Hullet House’s 4 restaurants – St George, The Parlour, Stables and Loong Toh Yuen where there are festive menus for the season.
