Club Monaco and Tommy Ton Bags
The brands are all into collaborations this season — moving things away from the drawing board and onto the street with fashion photographer Tommy Ton who is the founder and photographer of style blog: http://jakandjil.com/ .. Club Monaco has created a capsule collection of limited edition handbag designs for men and women, available exclusively at Club Monaco in Mid March 2012. This collaboration marks the most recent endeavor in the company’s rich history of working creatively with photography talents, from icons such as Peter Lindberg and Richard Avedon to a new generation including artist, Ryan McGinley and style blogger, Garance Doré.
The whole inspiration comes from being ON-THE-GO and Tommy Ton has worked closely with Club Monaco to develop two unique handbags durable enough to withstand rigorous use, yet refined and stylish enough to be carried by his many fashionable friends and subjects.
The capsule collection – is a messenger bag designed for women and backpack style for men – both aren’t intended to be unisex, however; possess this appeal with simple and modern silhouettes. Both designs reflect Tommy’s keen eye for detail, constructed in midnight blue bonded cotton twill featuring brushed nickel hardware, leather trim accents and a subtle embossed logo. Check them out in store in Singapore and HK from March 20th. In HK, they will retail for HKD1950 – HKD 2250.
