Congratulations! You’ve Won A Pixie!
Thank You so much everyone for exercising your creative muscle and sending in over 60 ultra-creative entries for Nespresso’s ‘Win A Pixie’ contest that we held in late May.
The two Teams at Nespresso Singapore and Hong Kong have selected individual country winners and they are ….
FROM HONG KONG - STELLO LO
Her winning entry: In Avatar’s Pandora, on top of the floating “Hallelujah Mountains”,
I will share Nespresso coffee experience made by Pixie with the Na’vi.
FROM SINGAPORE - STEPHANIE SNG
Her winning entry: I would pack little Pixie along to the hospital when I am due to deliver. I am off coffee these months for my pregnancy and I am so much waiting for baby to be out to have the perfect cuppa as soon as I can. Not exactly the most magical place to bring Pixie to, but why not, it would be the most magical cuppa for me. We all know that hospital coffee isn’t exactly worth waiting 9 months for! Then I’ll bring Pixie home along with the new little one! & Pixie can keep me company when newborn cries awake in the wee hours! Perfect!
We at Simply Fab’s wanted to just share the creativity and our personal favourites from Hong Kong and Singapore with everyone so read on for where some of our other coffee lovers said they would bring their Pixie:
Lai Hwa Sarah: The sun sets over the mountain lake, I reach for my Pixie. 30 magical seconds later – ahh bliss!
Andrew Williams: The boys are here and the match is about to start. The Pixie does it’s magic, not a second missed!
Debbie Lau: I would fly the new Nespresso PIXIE to Pixie Hollow to enjoy a cup of delicious Pixie coffee with Fairy Tinker Bell.
Cisy Lee: The Artic .. imagine a warm cup of Pixie coffee in hand while gazing at a sky filled with bright stars and enjoying the tranquility (both are a luxury in Hong Kong).
Connie Liu: Lapland in Finland! Watching aurora borealis and reindeers running on the snow with a cup of Nespresso is just enjoyable!
Heidi Pak: Under the aurora, where two of the best creations on Earth shine brilliantly and being appreciated by mortals.
Kiri Sinclair: The most magical place I would bring a Nespresso Pixie is on a sail boat in Sai Kung on a lazy Sunday with the girls. Girlfriends are always magical.
Jezialle Wang: Melbourne. A city where one can actually chill in the midst of the hustle and bustle and watch the world go by. Coffee would be the perfect companion.
Oh Sue Ann: The sky! What could be more magical than riding on a magic carpet with Pixie and the Genie as I enjoy hot coffee, watch steam merge into the clouds while savouring the sights below?
Tan Yee Jia: Crimson skies and lavender fields, Butterflies and daffodils, Beneath a spotted red toadstool, Pixie and I and my Nespresso, full!
Connie Yeung : If I won the adorable Pixie, I would put it in the family car and drive long distance to KL or Malacca to keep us awake and focused on the long road trip.
Kathy Tan: Many would bring Pixie to 8 wonders but … I’ll choose an elderly home and share my coffee with the forgotten.. as great stuff are meant to be shared..
Josephine Soh: To a treehouse winter getaway where the only time we’d leave the nest is for lunch, dinner and check-out.”
Jenny Tan: My husband, myself and our partner Michael of FoodCult.TV, have always dreamt of buying a coffee farm in Hawaii. It’s funny how this idea got into…and dwelt in our head…but it’s always a point of reference for something to work towards to. We’d always say “We must make this work…then we can buy that coffee farm in hawaii, chill on the other island of the Gods…and the boys can smoke their cigars while lazing by the beach…”. The hubby always says coffee and tea goes well with cigars, so I can imagine the two boys smoking their cigars by the sea, while I will be the ideal domestic goddess and make them great coffee with just the press of a button.
Liquin: The most magical place to me right now would be British Columbia in Canada. I met my husband there and we have yet to visit the groundsof our University days. It has nice mild winters compared to other parts of Canada and it would be perfect to snuggle up in a log cabin in Whistler with said husband in tow and precious-precocious-31-month-old-Brendon-the-preschooler with a hot cup of Nespresso.
Alvin Choo: I will bring the Nespresso Pixie to Cinderella’s castle in the Magic Kingdom! Its every little boy’s dream to be a prince (ok not every! Most want to be pilots..) and every little girl’s dream to be a princess.I wanna make my girl’s dream come true (even if its only for a day!) with a modern touch and her favourite coffee!
Annie Lee: I recently retired and have been working for more than 45 years without stopping in my life. As the eldest (daughter), I had to stop my studies and start working in order to support my mother and siblings. So when I retired last year, I looked forward to smelling the roses. I continued my yoga, joined the cell group, picked up the ukelele…and travelled to nearby countries…spending quality time with my husband. We have always dreamt of going on a long, luxurious cruise…to just enjoy the sea and water (we picked up sailing when we were much younger, and love the sun,sea and sand), the views, and hanging out by the pool. I would love to have the PIXIE accompany us on this journey, as getting good coffee is not always easy. My husband is a man of simple pleasures, and a good cup of coffee always cheers him up. So we would like to invite the PIXIE to join us on our magical journey (and it will happen, one day), as we take stock of the years before – and after – us.
Clarissa Onofre: Trekking to Huayna Picchu overlooking Machu Picchu..waiting for the sunset with a cup of coffee on hand.
Lim Chooi Lee: The Peak of Mount Haleakala in Maui at sunrise… Nespresso coffee to complement the awesome view, warm the body in subzero temperatures plus caffeine for biking down the mountain afterwards. PS. there is a Visitor’s Centre at the top so I can plug the Pixie in!
Vivienne Yeo: Under the frescoed sky of the Sistine Chapel, Pixie and I, both of us sigh, “Espresso with awe please.”
Rae Ng: The Ice Hotel in Sweden. Imagine myself bundled up in winter wear in my ice room, cradling a hot mug of coffee from Pixie. Fabulous!
And Cheryl Ng - (Thanks so much for your thoughtful entry): I’d bring the Pixie to the lovely ladies of Simply Fabulicious first and foremost to say thanks with a cuppa (!) before traipsing with it to the respective Wonders of the World – caffeine & clarity of mind are key to fully appreciate such splendor.
Thank You Everyone for participating!
We have constantly got lots of Simply Fab giveaways so keep your eyes peeled
as there are more good things rolling your way in the next few weeks.
