Cookies To Help The Elderly
Come the new year, lend a hand and help raise funds for the elderly in Singapore!
Asia Pacific Breweries Singapore (APBS) will be selling fortune cookies to support the Meal & Grocery Programme created by Kreta Ayer-Kim Seng Constituency. The Meal & Grocery Programme ensures that the needy elderly living in the constituency are able to eat more regular and nutritious meals.
Each box contains 10 fortune cookies, and will be sold at S$10 at APBS’ booth at the Chinatown Pavilion at Banda Street from 30 December 2011 till 24 January 2012. You can also order your cookies via an email to corpcomms@apb.com.sg.
“The funds raised through the Cookies for Charity Programme will go a long way to support the needs of the elderly living in Kreta Ayer, with many of them not having any family members to depend on. The Programme highlights the essence of 聚 (togetherness), which is APBS’ theme for the celebration of the Lunar New Year in 2012 and we hope that members of the public will step forward and support this cause. A box of fortune cookies can be purchased for just S$10 and we would be most grateful for any additional donations received as well,” said Alina Boey, Head of Corporate Communications, APBS.
