Drive-By Bling Shopping At Carrie’s
It’s Christmas season again and the frantic shopping is about to begin. We hate crowds, so that’s why we love Carrie K’s drive-by shopping service from 12-23 December!
It takes the harried horribleness of fighting crowds out of shopping, and preserves all the pleasure. All you have to do is pick out the rocks you like from her online store www.CarrieKRocks.com and send the payment through via credit card. Once they call you to confirm the deal, it just leaves you to jump in your car, and swing by her dinky little shop at 136 Bukit Timah Road, near Hooper Road. They’ll pass it to you as you drive by, so you don’t even have to do your hair.
If you prefer a touch-and-feel experience, Carrie’s new premises is open to walk-in customers Saturday afternoons 2-5pm. If not, you can call and make an appointment to visit.
We love her loud Cocktail Bling range featuring Swarovski crystals with sterling silver and plated with Black Gold. Available in five ‘flavours’ – Sangria, Kir, Black Russian, Bellini and Mixed Cocktail – they reflect Carrie’s favourite poisons, and are meant to be worn bold and beautiful, stacked or in multiples across your digits a la Liberace.
