Fall In Love With These
I love these Marc by Marc Jacobs watches for their whimsical look….Perfect for every mood and occasion. And if these watches are anything to go by, purple seems the way to go for the moment. Would love to get my hands on them! But where would I wear them to…?
Perfect for edgy, fashion conscious daily wear and definitely to contemporary church services on Sunday mornings. Why? ‘Cos its not only super funky with its silicone wrapped stainless steel bracelet, royal purple hue and chronograph dial, it’s also called The Rock ($360)! Available in 3 sizes (Men’s 46mm, midsize 40mm, and women’s 28mm).
This Rivera Collection watch ($320) is good for when one is heaving the carcass down the running track at East Coast Park….or whenever I guess. I like its quirkiness – transparent plastic silhouette with metal or opaque center link, and a bit of bling from the crystal MARC lettering on the dial. If only they could customise it with our names in crystals on the face of the watch instead!
OMG! Don’t you just love the super retro style which just yells “Gold Finger!” Doesn’t this HENRY watch ($360) just bring you back to the 70s? Snap it on and strut your stuff at 1970s-themed parties, karaoke joints and Lai Lai Midnight Bar. No but seriously, folks, I’d wear this anywhere too….really – just for it’s ‘in-your-face’ retro chic. Quite irresistible. Now pass me that afro wig….
I would want this ‘Miss Marc’ watch for myself though I suspect the 11-year-old in my life would roll her eyes contemptuously and say, “So NOT age appropriate, Mom!” Of course, then she’d swipe it for herself, just like she did my BabyG some time back. Want this. It’s just absolute fun!
And by extension, this Miss Marc pendant ($320) watch is so cute too, huh? Guess if I were a nurse, I’d use this instead of those clip on, standard issue upside down watches the ladies wear round the wards.
