Forever 21 Opens Today In HK!
Wonder what took Forever 21 so long to open in Hong Kong? In Singapore, they have been pretty much an institution and I remember many a happy hour browsing through their affordable and fun finds at the Wisma Atria Mall.
Well, you are never too old to be Forever 21 so pop by the store that opens in Hong Kong today in Causeway Bay at Capitol Centre. The store will eventually offer a 6 floor retail concept store but only one third will be open today with the official launch in Spring 2012 when the full 35,527.9 sq ft of the store will be revealed.
If you missed the HK$100 (about SG$20) gift coupons that they handed out to the first 210 shoppers there today, don’t fret because they have an in-store competition called the ‘Cast of Forever 21’,designed to seek out the savviest fashionistas in Hong Kong. Consumers who believe they have the look and style of Forever 21 can enter (from January 18th to March 31st) on the brand’s Facebook site at www.facebook.com/Forever21HK by posting their own stylish pictures. The contest will last 11 weeks and the winning looks will be chosen every week until the competition closes at March 31st. 21 winners of the Cast of Forever 21 will take home a HK$1,000 gift card and an exclusive invitation to attend the VIP grand opening event in Spring. Winners may potentially also be selected as the final Cast of Forever 21 to participate in a catwalk show to celebrate the store grand opening after casting!
The grand opening will take place in the Spring when all six floors will be revealed showcasing the most on trend fashions across women’s wear, men’s apparel, children’s wear, shoes, bags, accessories and cosmetics. Other popular sub brands of Forever 21 such as Heritage 1981, Love 21, and Tween will be available following the Spring grand opening.
