Hong Kong’s Super Burger Just Landed!

Meet the 50/50 Indulgent Burger, Hong Kong’s most indulgent, macho-to-the-max burger heaved up and served out by Main St Deli, The Langham, Hong Kong’s New York-style deli.

The restaurant is known for serving ‘serious portion sized, all- American food’, but this surely blows that definition off into space.  Even then, they say it’s a dish that’s been ‘slimmed down’ compared to its other offerings. Here’s 1lb (450g) of meat made up of “the very finest ground Wagyu beef, 50%, mixed with the decadent ground Iberico pork, 50%, it comes served in a 8 inch homemade bun with fried pickles, jalapeño mayo, three cheeses, tomato-chili jam and sautéed mushrooms”. (If that’s slimmed down, I don’t know what ‘fat’ is….possibly something that blocks out the sun!)

If you’re in the mood for sharing, you can also get the “Ultimate Indulgent Sharing Platter” (HK$1188) which gives you a 50/50 Indulgent Burger with cheese fries, chilli con carne and one large jar of milkshake.

After that, put on your trainers and run to Singapore to burn off those calories!
