If you are like me with 10 kilos to lose and no inspiration to start then maybe you just need a new functional sporty wardrobe that will get you moving in the right direction ie. towards the gym rather than the next patisserie around the block.
Don’t turn your nose up at the humble Polo. Nike has launched an ultra-sporty GS Polo at S$59 with a specially engineered flat-rib vented collar that makes for breathable comfort under the sweltering sun.
Got the top but the kickers need an update, try the Nike Classic Cortez Nylon shoe. The famous swoosh shoe with that ‘just do it’ mantra starts at S$79 in three different colours are funky and stylish enough to take you from the soccer run straight to the gym.
Must he go everywhere with you? Must he match your look? Ok don’t answer that. Toss his ‘ah pek’ 1980’s army style running shorts into the trash in favour of Giordano’s range of G Cool’s that will win any teenager’s respect. And yeah, whilst you are at it, pick up a set for ‘boy-boy’ and pack it into his army backpack.
