Lustful Power Rings
Bling bling! What do I see? I lust after these truly, madly and deeply. If there is a nice little gift for Mother’s Day that I could do with, it’ll be one of these – preferably the blue topaz. Is that a screamingly clear hint to the husband yet? And it’s no great hardship as these cocktail rings from Goldheart MODE doesn’t cost that much (from S$4,905). The candy colours are almost edible, and they are sizeable chunky bling thta gets noticed.
Coming in yellow quartz, blue topaz, rose quartz and amethyst, what makes them so special are their asymmetrical shape, and the mother of pearl at the base which shines through subtly and gives the stone a lovely, intriguing milky iridescence. So gorgeous. The blue topaz in particular, smokey blue with a grey tinge, is particularly enigmatic, which I think looks more interesting than a sweet pink anytime. This range also includes matching pendants….though the power rings get my vote anytime.
Why do I call them Power Rings? Take a look at their drama-mama hexagonal shape. Makes me think of Lord of the Rings! Wear it and it turns you into a vixen or mysterious medieval witch (sans burning at the stake of course!) with the right outfit. They are good to go for power boardroom meetings to power afterdark rendezvous. It’s a must buy in my books.
