Muppet Mania At Singapore Film Festival
The Singapore International Film Festival is in full swing, and whaddaya know? – the muppets are in town. Or at least the people behind these lovable characters that have been so much part of our childhood since the 70s! Long live the muppets! This unique program of rarities examines the origins of the Muppets, featuring early live TV appearances, unusual commercials, guest spots, and excerpts from the rarely seen pilot for what would become The Muppet Show, The Muppets: Sex and Violence featuring a tribute to the Seven Deadly Sins!

Music was always an integral part of The Muppet Show. This screening presents a collection of classic music numbers interpreted as only the Muppets can, and featuring stars like Harry Belafonte, Elton John, and Linda Ronstadt.
