My Summer Favs From Maybelline
As the weather heats up, I find myself abandoning the rich and luxe creams and foundations for lighter weight products that allow the skin to breathe especially as I step outside into the hovering humidity. So when I tried this handy little product from Maybelline at Watsons, its Pure Mineral BB Mousse, I was pleasantly surprised.
Mousse and BB Cream blended together – radiance in a can – amazing what they will think of next!! Dispense a small dollop into the palm of your hand and apply after your apply your moisturiser, primer and concealer and apply evenly all over your face. Its airy texture dissapears straight away into the surface of your skin but beware you have to do it fast as mousse evaporates pretty quickly and if you are not fast about it, the texture tends to look slightly uneven the way it would when you pat on something wet to face when it has powder on it.
But once you have mastered the technique, you will like the fine coverage and the overall product texture once applied. It provides breathable coverage and because this product was developed in Japan, the pure minerals inside work to smoothen out the pores to leave that fresh, dewy and youthfully, nude appearance.
The mousse apparently works to hydrate, leave skin bright and supple, smooth out the pores and refine the skins overall texture camouflaging any underneath dullness and redness. The formulation also contains a UV ray protection with SPF 30/PA+++. Only SGD$23.90 in Singapore.
