New And Unique To Hong Kong!

If you are indeed coming to Hong Kong for some year end shopping, make sure that you pop by these ONLY in Hong Kong brands that we just discovered here.

Yes you must go to Lane Crawford (IFC Mall, Times Square and Pacific Place) and Soho boutique Forest Bird (39 Staunton Street, Soho), the new homes of Miriam Salat (we featured her some time go – www.simplyfabulicious.com/miriam-salat-bangles-now-at-lane-crawford-hk) and check out some of her new arrivals. She combines gypsy and jetsetter in one look with this new range of accessories in chic colours like Moroccan Red, Burmese Blue an Polished Black. Also at Forest Bird, the first boutique in HK to stock her rings, necklaces and earrings find the Petal Resin Pendant and Ruby Swirl Pendant – both stylish statement pieces that will show off any simple outfit in a stunning way.

Whilst you are browsing the wonderful nooks, corners and crannies in Soho, head a few stores down from Forest Bird to 53 Staunton Street and check out Tiare, a multi label women’s wear boutique that focuses on US designers from New York and LA. They have a proper store as well as an innovative virtual boutique www.shoptiare.com that allows you to browse through their entire collection online. Shoppers can browse new collections, seek style advice and receive the same personal attention online as they would in the store. Shoppers can ask questions online and get to know the designers to make more informed decisions before purchasing.  The site also allows customers to personalise their browsing experience with filters by brand, item, size and so forth, to see only what they like and tag items. See something that you like, buy it and get a friend living in HK to pick it up for you.

You don’t actually have to leave your hotel room to buy anything from Pretty Dangerous, an online jewelry retailer see: http://www.prettydangerous.com.hk that is based in Hong Kong. I liked their website, clean, interesting and bold with some pretty funky conversation piece bobbles worth taking a look at. Founded by Alison Tam who hand picks and spots these lovelies from her many sourcing trips around the globe, this range of intrepid jewelry is contemporary and includes several structural pieces from Annika Burman, intricately-worked silver accessories by Deva Rose and impactful jewels by Guillaume, all of whom incorporate a captivating pick of exquisite stones too. You will also find top quality jewellery from British designers Daisy Knights and Zelia Horsley. If you want to see the items up close head to the Holiday Bazaar at Azure in LKF Hotel from 12pm – 6pm on Wednesday 16 November and to their Pop-Up shop on 28 November 6-8pm at the Kalamakeup Studio in Central.
