Rosamosario Opens 1st Store In Asia
If you are a regular at Lane Crawford here in Hong Kong or Saks Fifth Avenue or you shop online at Net-a-Porter then the name Rosamosario will ring a definite bell. This luxe Italian fashion brand from Milan has found its followers in Asia and it recently opened its first Asian retail store right here in Wan Chai’s St Francis Street.
Latin for “Rose” and “Love”, Rosamosario also means “freedom” and “delicacy” in a Tuscan dialect and is well known for its Italian lace lingerie collection. Its designer, Carlotta Danti, finds inspiration from superior French lace and chiffon, pairing mainly with color palettes ranging from rose, champagne and nude shades.
If you want to meet Carlotta, she will be jet-setting down to Hong Kong once a month to tailor-make orders so this is your chance for some one-on-one time with her all to yourself, especially if you have a special order or design in mind.
In the Wan Chai shop, look out for their ready-to-wear collection and high heel shoes, which are available exclusively in Asia.
Gracing the opening recently in Hong Kong, was local starlette Aimee Chan wearing the label and showing off some of the latest items in the collection.
