If you’re hopeless at cooking, no worries. Say ‘hello’ to Secret Ingredient, your stealth kitchen elf who’ll help you whip up a delectably authentic meal on your own, and not have to lie when someone asked if you made this brilliant dish.
Just opened recently, Secret Ingredient is a genius Hong Kong-based ‘gastro-enabler’ and busy girls’ best friend. Here’s how it works: you go to them online, pick out the dishes you want to prepare, and they’ll deliver a neat parcel to you on the same day, with all the ingredients nicely measured out, chopped, sliced and prepared, plus recipe for you to assemble at home. Everything’s nicely measured out so there’s no wastage too.
No fear for kitchen virgins because the recipes provided uses a ‘cook-by-letters’ system – so it’s easy peasy – , makes use of minimal utensils (read less washing up) and can all be done within 30 minutes.
Dishes are healthy gourmet do’s using fresh ingredients sourced locally and premium meat, fish and poultry imported from Australia, NZ and US. To bring it up a notch, they also provide wine pairings picked by their sommelier, as well as beers.
