Stanley Plaza Food And Music Festival
In Hong Kong or just passing by, keep the last weekend of November free because Stanley Plaza, where the famous Stanley Market is, is set to reopen and with a festival of food and music on 26 and 27 November.
If you are shopping at the Market then you will want to walk over (it’s a short stroll) to the adjacent Plaza which has been renovated at a cost of over HK$200 million, Stanley Plaza will offer six floors of retail and a 300 seat amphitheatre located at the seafront piazza. Highlights of the weekend’s festivities include live master class demonstrations by local food and wine personalities, wine tasting and sampling by wine experts in the ‘Wine Zone’ and performances by some of HK’s homegrown music bands (on November 19 and 20). There will also be a Paws by the Sea Pet Festival which will highlight Stanley Plaza as a dog friendly mall. Entrance to the Food and Music Festival (26 and 27 Nov) is free of charge.
