Stepping Out With Staccato
If you are shoe hunting in Hong Kong, walk yourself into Staccato. I always thought this was an international Italian brand with a name like that however I was surprised to find out that it hails from Hong Kong.
This Fall/Winter, the brand has a new collection with two styles to show this season specially designed by Hong Kong stylista Hilary Tsui who is also the wife of pop star Eason Chan (Yik-shun). Staccato and Hilary first worked together for the brand’s Spring/Summer 2011 collection and Hilary’s designs swept the shoe markets in Hong Kong and China by storm.
Comfort is key according to Hilary and the emphasis this season is all about trendy comfort with the designs based on two of Hilary’s favorite shoes models, the high heel or platform shoe for social functions and the flat bottom shoes for leisure activities. Simple, yet elegant the designs come in two vivid colors – orange and ruby blue.
