Still Boobylicious
Over 80% of breast operated women say that wearing glamorous lingerie is still important to them following a mastectomy, says research by leading mastectomy-wear specialist, Amoena.
More than half of the 1,000-plus women surveyed also said that wearing glamorous lingerie made them feel more attractive.
Says Rhoda White, Amoena’s marketing manager,”Following breast surgery, women still want to look good, and it’s important for them to be able to find clothes that restore their body confidence.”
Following the survey, the brand has launched a new Parisian-inspired collection called French Touch, which offers two ranges – Juliette and Violette. The collection includes four mastectomy bras with matching camisole, briefs, thongs and lace or tummy-control shorts, and combines luxe fabrics with delicate decorative touches and provocative styling.
“We’re really excited about this because we believe it will appeal to all those women who love to wear luxe lingerie and won’t let breast surgery stand in their way,” adds Rhoda.
The collection is available from October 2011, and can be purchased online at www.amoena-online.co.uk
