This Weekend – Stock Up Your Cellar
Top Wine’s annual wine sale is on again this weekend from Friday to Sunday. This is where I always stock up on my wines, particularly Italian wines for which they seem pretty focused on. I found some interesting buys there the last time which are great for dinner parties – Peng Wines, Woody Nook, Doolhof and Anakena. Look out for the fizzy Australian reds as well. It’s never too crowded but it can be busy, so pick up a wine glass, sip on the 10 tasting wines and pick your bottles. Its a nice way to spend a hot lazy weekend and there’s always someone willing and able to help you out if you want some wine, but don’t really have any strong feelings about what to buy. Go for it.
