You’ve Got To Do What You Love! RIP Steve Jobs (1955-2011)
A sad day dawns for Mac lovers everywhere as the world loses a visionary who has invaded our homes with the mac, the iPod, the iPad and the iPhone. Rest In Peace Steve Jobs! We salute you!
I woke up to the news as it broke over CNN minutes ago and was saddened.
Saddened because the world rarely sees genius, inspiration and the ability to transform the way we communicate creatively the way Steve Jobs inevitably did and when I think of his greatness, I recall his inspiration, charisma and concise advice in the commencement speech that he made in 2005 to the graduating class at Stanford and his words “you’ve got to find what you love!”.
Journey well Mr Jobs, the world was left with a better tomorrow because you had the courage to believe in your dreams!
“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”
